Subject and Application of the Terms

These general terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as the GTC) regulates the relationship between arte binningen and the artist. An organization committee (hereinafter referred to as OK) is responsible for the organization and realization. The OK decisions are irrevocable and cannot be disputed. The terms and conditions are an integral part of every application.

Exhibition Area

Sculptures:

Each participant has an exhibition area of 400 cm in length and a width of approximately 150 cm.

Pictures and Photography:

Each participant has an exhibition space of 500 cm width and 250 cm height. The pictures must not be hung above each other (exceptions can be approved by the OK). The canvas must be painted on the side. (Note: side wall 100 cm wide / pictures may not be wider than 70cm)

Side tables (55x55cm) as well Picture racks (102x60x27cm) will be provided by arte binningen!

Registration Fees

The participation fee for sculptures, plastics, pictures is CHF 370.00

Payment Terms

After receipt of the final confirmation for participation, you are asked to transfer the participation fee to the following account of arte binningen within 30 days after the date of the invoice.

Trade

The OK shall charge a commission of 25% of the selling price for each work sold. During arte binningen, purchase contracts may only be created by the OK. The purchased work will be marked with a red dot and remain in the exhibition until the finissage (exceptions only in consultation with the OK). Reserved artworks will be marked with a green dot (the reservations will be held for 1 day). The commission charge for the organizer relies on good faith. The organizer is entitled to a commission for art objects sold within six months of the end of the exhibition. Payment should be may according to the account information above.

Liability

Personal liability of the OK members is excluded. The OK accepts no liability for damage of any kind (for example, theft, fire, etc.). Obtaining insurance coverage is the responsibility of the participants.

Data Protection

The artist and sponsorship data are to be used only within the arte binningen context. This data may only be passed on to third parties with the express consent of the responsible company / person.

Cancellation

In the case of a cancellation of participation by one artist, the following conditions will be applied: up to three months before the start of the exhibition, 60% of the fees will be returned. With less than three months' notice, none of the fee(s) will be returned. The participation fee shall be forfeited by arte binningen.

Jurisdiction

All agreements are subjected to Swiss law. The place of fulfillment and exclusive jurisdiction is Basel-Landschaft.
